Support. Safety. Strength.

Every year, Lander County students rise to the challenge of turning pain into power, and creativity into change.
Our annual T-Shirt Design Contest invites young artists from across the county to create meaningful designs that raise awareness about domestic violence and promote messages of hope, healing, and strength. It’s more than art—it’s advocacy through expression.
Students submit original designs based on the themes of:
Love shouldn’t hurt
Safety, strength, and support
Standing up and speaking out
Hope after hurt
One powerful design is selected to be printed on the back of our annual domestic violence awareness shirts, worn with pride by community members, allies, and supporters.
Why it Matters
This contest empowers students to use their voices, raise awareness, and spark conversation—all through their art. For some, it’s personal. For all, it’s a way to stand with survivors and be part of the movement to end abuse.
From Sketch to Statement
Winning designs aren’t just printed—they’re celebrated. Featured on our site, displayed at local events, and worn across the county, these designs remind us that everyone—no matter their age—can make a difference.
